Training Matters provides quality learning and development opportunities for individuals, managers and trainers. We concentrate on the development of the individual and by enabling them to achieve their own potential, we help companies, in turn, meet their objectives.
Aim: This qualification aims to equip practising managers with the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform effectively as coaches or mentors as part of their normal work role.
Entry requirements: There are no formal entry requirements, but participants will normally be practising managers. Candidates should normally have completed a relevant qualification in Management however exceptional candidates who have no formal qualification in management but who have several years’ experience and completed some formal training in the role may also be accepted on the course.
Training Matters will provide electronic portfolios with all modules, support materials and communication methods designed specifically for the candidates.
Candidates will be assigned a coach at outset whose job is to guide, support and motivate to a successful outcome. There will also be an independent assessor assigned to each. The qualification is allowed to take up to 18 months, however we would envisage completion well before that given the depth of experience of both of the identified candidates.
